Job Responsibilities:
Our special missions require pilots to utilize a wide range of skills, from project management to customer service and crew resource management as well as various hands-on work
Support short notice on-demand aerial firefighting flights in an Air Tactical Group Supervisor (ATGS) role based out of various bases dependent upon national firefighting needs
Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Pilot in Command (PIC) in single pilot operations
Become familiar with the mission and customer requirements and determine a plan for the execution of the mission
Conduct flight operations in accordance with Part 135 standards and Dynamic Aviation operating procedures and policies
Communicate and coordinate with the on-site aircraft mechanics to ensure the aircraft is available to meet customer expectations
Job Requirements:
Commercial multi-engine pilot certificate and instrument rating
The following minimum fixed-wing qualifications:
1500 hours total time
1200 hours PIC in an airplane
200 hours PIC multi-engine land with at least 100 hours PIC multi-engine fixed wing in the last 12 months
200 hours PIC flying low level in mountainous terrain at 2500 feet AGL and below
Mountainous terrain is designated in Subpart B of 14 CFR Part 95, which begins at 14 CFR 95.11
200 hours PIC night
500 hours PIC cross-country
50 hours PIC instrument actual
75 hours PIC instrument simulated
Second class medical
Ability to make travel arrangements on short notice
