Job Description:
Basic Function: The Co-Pilot will serve as a trusted member of the Company, and ensure the responsible, safe, legal and efficient operation of each flight assignment.
Job Specifications: Requires a high school or equivalent education. Must remain current with federal and state flight regulations. Must possess necessary type ratings for any aircraft owned by the Company. The ideal candidate will exhibit advanced aviation skills, a high level of confidentiality and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The Co-Pilot will also exhibit sound aviation decision making skills, good judgement, and the ability to maintain flexibility with a varying schedule.The Company is a family-owned franchisee of 121 Taco Bell restaurant locations across Texas. The Co-Pilot will not only be technically capable and dedicated, but someone who enjoys working with a great team focused on providing flight safety for all members of the Company.
The Company operates under FAR 91 flight rules; we provide private corporate travel upon request of the Company’s officers. Flights are conducted on the Company’s 2012 Cessna Citation XLS+ aircraft. We have challenging destinations and an exciting mix of destinations and mission profiles.
Candidate must reside or be willing to relocate to the Jacksonville, Texas area.
Job Requirements:
2,000 Total Time
250 Multi-Engine Time
100 Jet Time
100 Turbine Time
Second Class Medical
Valid Unrestricted US Passport
Airline Transport Rating or the ATP Written
Preferred Qualifications:
Citation CE560XL Type rating preferred, we can train the right applicant.
Citation XL, XLS or XLS+ experience
Rockwell Collins Proline 21 experience
Key Activities:
Must perform all flight assignments according to federal regulations to ensure safe and legal flight operations.
Will consult with the Chief Pilot when canceling, delaying, modifying, or discontinuing a flight when conditions dictate.
Serves as Co-Pilot during flight operations and is responsible for the safety of all passengers.
Monitors flight time and rest time for all flight assignments.
Ensures all pre-flight checklists are completed.
Works together with the Chief Pilot to maintain the safe keeping of all aircraft flight books and records.
Maintains the security and cleanliness of the aircraft hangar.
