<li>Known as Panther or Puma to pilots and is 5th Gen</li>
<li>These are prevalent in the USAF/Navy/Marines and will one day replace all F-16</li>
<li>F-35A is the USAF variant</li>
<li>F-35B is the Marine VTOL variant  </li>
<li>F-35C is the Navy &amp; Marine variant for carrier use</li>
<li>There are no 2seat F-35</li>
<li>“TR” is similar to the “Block” system of the&hellip;</li>

I saw firsthand one rare instance where this occurred at one of my past squadrons, and I don&#8217;t think people realize how hard it is on the aviator transitioning from heavies/bombers to fighters.</p>

I had the unique opportunity to serve with the Royal Australian Air Force for three glorious years. They flew the F-18F (and later EA-18G) and I was one of two exchange officers that flew from the United States with 1SQN at Amberley.&hellip;</p>
