The Navy just released the updated Aviation Department Head retention bonus for all communities. Specifically for my community (HSM), the retention bonus has been increased to 30k a year for 3 years, 40k for 5 years, and 40k for 7 years. Hey Charlie, Hoff here. I’m a Navy H-60 guy but most dependent-related things are somewhat universal across the DOD. As a married guy, the base may require you to live on base during UPT and FTU.
