I printed it out to practice and also practiced reading it off the screen, since some test centers give you a paper copy and some don’t.

The recruiter kept talking about the MEPS physical as part of the process but I never actually had to do it. Good luck!

Could you talk to a recruiter outside of your area, maybe near a squadron you want to apply to? Once I got the code to sign up from the recruiter I was able to take the test at my local community college’s testing center.

I got my TBAS scheduled at the FE Warren education center and the local ANG recruiting office can bring me on base for it! Way easier and everyone was way more helpful than in Denver. Thanks all for the help!

The Unsubstantial Air by Samuel Hynes, about American fighter pilots in WW1, was really good. He flew TBMs in WW2 and you can definitely tell it’s a book written by a pilot who really understood why they did what they did. I was on the Buckley Pilot Jobs website over the weekend and they had a big banner across the top of the page saying 2025 UPT hiring was all canceled. But if they posted it I’ll disregard that and apply!

I was planning to apply to the 120th at Buckley but I just saw that they’ve canceled their 2025 UPT hiring window, does anyone have any insight on that or know if they’ll do any UPT hiring next year? Thanks!
