<p>long story short, I’m a nurse and on the older side of the scale. As of now I’m an LPN and I’m fast tracking my bachelors to be able to apply to an ANG unit. </p>
</p>
<p>my question is; do they typically weigh online bachelors as less than in person? Nursing is weird in that getting your associates can ONLY be done (usually) in&hellip;</p>

<p>You can absolutely go P8s to ANG. In fact, you could probably walk right into the 201st airlift squadron (DV 737s in DC). With a short course, you could fly any ANG heavy. </p>
<p>Jump onto milrecruiter, check the box “hiring rated,” and start calling hiring POCs (pilots). </p>
<p>If there’s a unit you like that isn’t hiring, call them&hellip;</p>

<p>If I could have given one piece of advise to myself as a young aviator its this: the community is very very small.  </p>

<p>While there are 10K-ish pilots  in the USAF you tend to work day to day with similar types (fighter-fighter, airlift-airlift). and you tend to work with your same year group +/- 2 years.  In my year&hellip;</p>
