Hey guys, quick question.

long story short, I’m a nurse and on the older side of the scale. As of now I’m an LPN and I’m fast tracking my bachelors to be able to apply to an ANG unit.

You can absolutely go P8s to ANG. In fact, you could probably walk right into the 201st airlift squadron (DV 737s in DC). With a short course, you could fly any ANG heavy.

Jump onto milrecruiter, check the box “hiring rated,” and start calling hiring POCs (pilots).

@dylan-t & @luke.beer I stand corrected. Thanks, fellas! I knew CPW didn’t allow fighter slots, but I didn’t realize unsponsored boards weren’t allowing them now, too. Like I said, things are always changing, so I appreciate you keeping us updated! 🍻
