Hey aviators, I’m a 1LT active Army AH-64E driver looking to make a switch to the ANG. I am curious if anyone has any insight, guidance, or done this move before? Expecting my conditional release to be signed this month and I have a AFOQT scheduled for 24 March. I’m interested in applying for a UPT spot to go fixed wing. Any information is appreciated!

I have a checkride for my Private Pilot License in 10 days, and I’m planning to take the AFOQT and TBAS soon after. For those who’ve taken the AFOQT, do you think my recent PPL studying will help me score well on the pilot section, or should I also focus on some additional resources to aim for the highest score?
