I rushed the Idaho ANG and they said that it takes at least 2 years (2 sets) of interviews and rushing before you become a serious candidate for them. That being said it totally depends on your qualifications and how the unit feels about you. Sometimes you just put out the right vibe and they like you so much&hellip;</p>

I have encountered some guys who either flew for the airlines or the military and then got a DUI. The FAA yanked their licenses and ruled that they would never be able to regain them back. If you are interested in working as an instructor or pipeline pilot while you wait for your dates than I think it is probably worth it.
