    Got selected for a pilot slot with a Reserve squadron and they’re working on putting my UPT package together for the upcoming UPT board. How long after the board convenes does it take to know whether or not you got the slot? Then what’s next? Super stoked, but now it seems like hurry up and wait lol…

      @MANDO_ Congrats! Here’s a quote from the AFRC UFT Handbook: “Board results are usually released at or near the end of the month in which the board convened.”


      I’d expect that shortly after the board convenes, you should get the thumbs up from your sponsoring unit. If you had a unit sponsor you… I can’t imagine the board would deny you.… Read more

      Templates/Example Intro Letters for UPT Boards

      I have begun rushing units that I am interested in joining for Pilot opportunities and some have reached out directly asking for Intro Letters, along with other items. Does anyone have a great example they used to land pilot positions throughout the Air Force? TIA!
