Hello everyone, my name is Marco. I am a USMC veteran (0621) and currently pursuing my bachelor’s in computer science. I have always loved aviation and serving my community/ country. I volunteer weekly at an aviation museum near me as a docent and I am hoping to start earning my PPL next year. I also have a lot of strong leadership experience on my campus due to my time as an NCO in the Corps. I hope to join the CA ANG as a pilot. I would love fighters in the 144th FW, but I know it is very competitive. I think HH60s in the 129th RW would be amazing as well. Hoping I can put together a compelling application to fulfill my dreams in aviation and my desire to continue serving but I know I have some roadblocks to work through. Semper Fi!

Thank you for the information! I will be pushing close to 27 by the time I graduate with my bachelor’s, but I will mvoe forward nevertheless. I will be sure to consult a flight doctor as well.
