Hello all! My name is Rachel and I’m a CW2 Apache pilot in the Army. Being a pilot was a dream I’d had for my whole life and I am very proud to have accomplished that in the Army! I now would love to take what I know and transition to the Air Force in a couple years when my commitment is complete with the Army. I will be 32 at that point and hopefully nearing 800-1000 hours. If anyone has any suggestions or tips to make my dream a reality I would be so appreciative of it! Or if anyone has any questions about the Apache or Army Aviation, I definitely don’t mind answering! Thanks yall!

Hello!! The Army Street to Seat is a great program as the acceptance into it is a bit easier vs the Air Force. Army Aviation is busy these days, training has really increased the past year. Also the Army does have fixed wing options and those guys/gals live a very very good life. Being a warrant is very chill as your one primary duty is flying whereas regular line officers have a lot more admin and management responsibilities. Let me know if you have any more questions!
