As an Air National Guard (ANG) or Air Force Reserve (USAFR) pilot, there are many opportunities to sharpen your skills, fly more and go TDY. The 419th Fighter Wing is a Total Force Integration (TFI) Classic Associate Unit. These Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) units are attached to Active Duty Fighter Wings (in this case the 388th FW), and are designed to augment Active Duty squadrons with Traditional Reservists (TR) and experienced Instructor Pilots (IP). This provides a unique opportunity for USAFR pilots to integrate with their AD counterparts, fly more and travel the world.
Bamboo Eagle 25-1 is a great example of one of those opportunities for our Reserve F-35 friends at the 419th Fighter Wing!
