I am an active-duty TACP with five years of service and hold a Private Pilot Certificate with 60 hours of flight time. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and am currently pursuing my instrument rating through ongoing flight training. My long-term goal is to fly a fighter platform in the Air National Guard.
As I progress through instrument training, my next milestone is preparing for the AFOQT. I am seeking any recommendations on study materials, preparation strategies, or general advice to help ensure success on the exam.

The Barron’s Military Flight Aptitude Tests book and the Trivium AFOQT Study Guide are the top two books I recommend. Take the practice tests in as realistic a testing environment as you can create at home, with real time constraints, etc. and you’ll get a feel for the pacing of the AFOQT. Best of luck!

I’d go on Amazon and buy Momentrix Book for AFOQT. Then, use a 50% discount code in the book to get Momentrix AFOQT online prep. These two are life changers

I 100% recommend hiring @Tutor-Gunboss to help prep.

Doubling down on the advice above. I think a combo of the Test Prep Books like Barron’s, combined with some tutoring, is the magic elixir.
Good luck and shoot for those 90s to stay competitive for fighters!1
