Several posts ago I had talked about experiences and exercises that you as pilots will get to have while in the USAF. One of those was about “Combat Hammer” (CH). A quick refresher on CH but your squadron flies to a handful of locations that does this operation. The unit is slated a certain amount of weapons and wrapping types, and you go drop them! This helps in two ways, you as a pilot get real world experience with the weapon and the USAF looks at all the data provided to help improve. This article talks about how we not only do that in testing but with everything we release in combat too!
