Shout out to @mhabib for recommending that we make the percentile score on MilRecruiter analytics less confusing. So we just pushed a few changes worth checking out:
Added:
Rank – See where you rank in each category
Tied With – How many people are you tied with in that category
My Percentile – Percentage of applicants you scored higher than
Adjusted Percentile – Percentage of applicants you scored higher than OR equal toThanks again to @mhabib and if any of you have any recommendations for improving BogiDope or MilRecruiter, please don’t hesitate to let me know.🍻
Husky, Meech and 4 others-
Is it just me, or is the analytics page bugged? The “squadron analytics” page only allows me to select squadrons to apply to rather than view the applicant stats for that specific squadron, and the “global analytics” page isn’t displaying my percentile score relative to all applicants.

Hi @dylanvt – Thanks for the comment, but there might be a bit of misunderstanding of the difference between Global and Squadron analytics (our fault for not making that more clear)…
Global Analytics is a snapshot of the metrics from all applicants on MilRecruiter with at least one published application. It doesn’t show rank or percentiles, because it would be somewhat irrelevant since not everyone is applying to same jobs.
Squadron Analytics is available for BogiDope Academy & Mastermind members, which may be why you’re not seeing the data. Squadron Analytics does show rank and percentiles because it’s directly showing where you stack up against all other applicants for that particular squadron.
Hopefully that makes sense. We’ll try to do a better job making that obvious on the site. Ultimately, we’re trying to make something that is beneficial for you guys/gals, so if you have suggestions for how to make it better, please let me know.
