Rushing and pilot interviews would be great!

Planning for employment while going through UPT to prepare for exiting the active training time in the guard to part time status.

I’d love to see a webinar on rushing, mainly spelling out what to expect. For example, I learned quite a bit from the interview with the UPT selectees about what rushing is actually like, and would be interested in hearing a bit more about what to expect at different types of units, which types of questions will get asked in a less formal setting, any potential “gotchas” that may get thrown out, and any specifics for what to expect at scheduled one-off visits vs visiting during rush events.

The webinar schedule for May is officially on the calendar! Per your request, we’ll have a dedicated webinar about Rushing a Squadron on 5/19 and mock interview practice on 5/20. (There’s also two AFOQT prep sessions on 5/14 & 5/21 plus a general open office pilot Q&A on 5/23).
Keep sending in your requests so we can build out future webinar topics around what you care about the most.

It would be great to learn about the additional upgrades/qualifications you can earn beyond 2&4 FLUG, IP and WIC. For example, I recently learned about FAC-A and the Sandy I & II upgrades. I’ve heard of a few others but would be interested to learn about what is out there once you go through the standard upgrades.

I’d really love to hear about ways to excel when going from enlisted guard to trying to fly for same unit. (From bootcamp, tech school and beyond). Thanks!
