Have had trouble contacting a recruiter for the last 3 months to try to set up AFOQT. Even reached out on airforce website and told me someone would be in contact with me and nothing from that. Does anyone have any tips or somehow know of a National recruiter than can help? Thanks!

      • I wasted way too much time trying to go through a recruiter to schedule the test and was unsuccessful, I don’t recommend it. You can get a good recruiter that’s helpful, but from my experience you aren’t a priority to them and the process can take longer.

What I ended up doing was contacting my local air guard unit to receive a voucher to take the computer/Pearson version of the test and I had myself scheduled to take the test at a Pearson testing site in a week.

        • I ran into this exact same issue. It took me 7 months of calling to finally speak to the correct recruiter and get moving towards the AFOQT. I continued to call my State’s Officer Recruiter Office, give them updates (Graduated College, got mor flight hours, etc.) as a way to keep in touch and show them that I am very serious and not a waste of their time. After being promised call back after call back, I eventually was put in touch with the correct recruiter, and we got after it!

I know it is frustrating, but do not let it get you down. Keep reaching out!

I also struggled with this but had success with AFROTC, I reached out to a couple explaining my situation and finally got one to schedule the test for me. Some will only do them once a semester, but keep reaching out till you find one that will schedule one as soon as you are ready. Good luck!
