The Wings invited candidates to visit the day before the interviews. They allowed us to visit each squadron and speak with the various Wing members. We got to tour each of the aircraft from the 4 squadrons. There were 3 days of interviews with the first interviews given to those who came from out of state. The interview panel comprised of about 2 Flight Crew members per squadron. So there were about 8 interviewers.
Standard interview questions are included in the Bogidope question bank. They also asked if I had any experience living in cold and dark states (like Alaska). They wanted to know how you could fit into the unforgiving landscape that Alaska has.
Be prepared to discuss a thorough plan with the board about how you plan to live in the Last Frontier. I recommend visiting them outside of just this weekend (more specifically in the winter, when the weather is more intense).
