Last Chance Advice
So, I have decided to give this thing a shot one more time. The unit close to my house opened their doors for a set number of RPA pilot slots. I tried last year but I lost my job after 10years and my world came crashing down there for a minute so I didn’t make it in time. This is my last chance to fly for the military before I’m considered “old”. Ive had a lot of hurdles along the way getting to this point but feel like the universe is finally opening this door I’ve been trying to open for as long as I can remember.
Although I am a recent graduate (last year) I am fairly rusty on a lot of the subjects covered by this test. Does anyone have any advice, words of encouragement, and do’s/don’ts for preparing for the AFOQT?
A quick bio of me and my situation. I’m a 39 year old Marine vet with 9 years of service. I held a 3.5 GPA and was on the Deans list all but 2 semesters during my last two years at my University. I have my PPL and Instrument rating with about 240 hours. I currently own two homes, one of which is a rental, and have excellent credit (near 800).
There’s a lot of controllable and uncontrollable events/ situations in my life that have prevented me from pursuing this childhood dream of mine until now. Although I would love to have physically flown fighters or anything in that matter. I would be just as happy and grateful to fly as an RPA pilot. Coming from a childhood where I damn near taught myself everything because my parents didn’t, and having an amazing wife who supported me through my darkest times, I would be honored to serve my country again. This time for another 20.
Any advice and/ or words of encouragement is greatly appreciated.

@Tutor-Gunboss is a great resource. There is a Group Called Military Test Prep that you can join to get you started. I would reach out to @Tutor-Gunboss for further gouge beyond that to help you with your test prep.
I will leave it to him to give you some great information!
