About Us:
We’re a private family seeking a full-time pilot to fly our Cessna Caravan for personal travel from Carlsbad (KCRQ) to our vacation home in Mexico. We’re looking for someone seeking long-term employment who values safety, professionalism, and a family atmosphere.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as PIC on all flights (single-pilot) and maintain a readiness posture at destination
• Plan and file flight plans, review weather, coordinate trip logistics to include customs
• Oversee aircraft cleanliness, stocking, and maintenance coordination
• Liaise with FBO, service providers, and maintenance teams
• Communicate with our family office on all travel plans
• Occasionally support travel planning or repositioning trips as needed

What We Offer

• Annual Salary: $80,000-$120,000; salary negotiable depending on candidate experience
• Annual schedule provided 6-8 months in advance
• Paid annual currency training and foreflight subscription
• Potential to fly a new aircraft in the next couple years
• Preponderance of flying day VFR
• Respectful, family-first atmosphere

Job Requirements:
• FAA Commercial or ATP Certificate with ASEL
• Valid Second-Class or First-Class Medical
• 1,500+ hours total time, 500+ turbine hours preferred
• Comfortable flying single-pilot IFR and working independently
• Familiar with Cessna Caravan (or similar turboprop) a big plus but not required
• Experience landing on dirt strips a plus but not required
• Friendly, flexible, and professional looking for long-term employment
• Able to work in the U.S. and hold a valid passport
• Must live within 2 hour drive of KCRQ
• Spanish speaking a plus but not required
