Guard Buy AD contract during UPT?
Hey! First post here. I’m currently at UPT at Laughlin and am set to get my wings in about two months. I applied to my home guard unit over a year ago and was close, but they only had 4 slots. I thought it was no longer an option, however, I have heard through the grapevine that guard units can buy your contract before you earn wings.
I called my unit today and they mentioned it would be a cool idea, but they don’t know much about this “program”. Any ideas on how I can learn more about this and propose a plan to them to hopefully get my dream assignment?
Any other recommendations? Thanks!
