Naval Aviation Department Head Retention
Hey BD warfighters,
The Navy just released the updated Aviation Department Head retention bonus for all communities. Specifically for my community (HSM), the retention bonus has been increased to 30k a year for 3 years, 40k for 5 years, and 40k for 7 years. Additionally, there is a bonus for forward deployed DHs (FDNF) of 10k per year. Posting for SA and discussion! Interested to see what the retention bonuses are for my Air Force and Army counterparts.

Interesting to see just how much the VP NFO bonus jumped up this year. I was a little surprised by that one. I can’t imagine it’ll sway too many people’s minds, it seems like everyone has pretty much made their minds up one way or another before they’re on the boards.
