UPT With Past Flying Experience
Hey everyone,
I wanted to create this discussion because I’ve seen some other people with a similar question. How is UPT with past flying experience? I’m currently in AFROTC wanting to be an active duty fighter pilot and want to see how UPT is from a standpoint from a person with previous flying experience. When the times comes to start UPT, I will have 350 hours and 10 hours of aerobatic time. Just wanted to see what others have to say about how their UPT experience was with prior flight experience. It’s going to be a lot different. The people with a lot of hours do great through the transition and nav blocks, but the form was difficult for them. Just don’t rely on your prior experience because you’ll have to do everything the Air Force way.
