GRW Aerial Surveys is currently seeking an Aerial Survey Pilot to fly a twin-engine Piper Navajo (PA-31) aircraft. The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented, self-motivated professional with a positive attitude for getting the job done correctly and efficiently. Travel required.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent
2nd Class Medical
FAA Multi-engine Commercial Pilot License
Instrument rated and current
IFR Proficiency Check Current
VFR Day/Night Current
1,000 hours Total Time
250 hours Multi Engine
25 hours in Navajo
Valid US Driver’s License
No accidents or violations
Excellent oral and written English communication skills to effectively write reports and business correspondence, and present information and respond to questions from managers, clients and the general public.
High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Ability to plan project resources, maintain schedules and stay within budget
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Desire, motivation and ability to exceed the firm’s and clients’ expectations
Dedication and willingness to continue professional growth

Additional Experience Preferred:

Aerial Image or Lidar acquisition experience
Experience in Cessna 206
Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct flight operations in compliance with FAA CFR 14 Part 91 regulations, aircraft limitations and company operating procedures.
Pilot in command responsible for the safe operation of aircraft.
Communicate with management and other flight crew personnel.
Ability to travel (up to 3 weeks at a time).
Ability to move aircraft in and out of hanger using a motorized tug.
Mission planning, weather analysis, coordination of ground support when required.
Coordinate flight operations with sensor operator.
Coordinate with FAA personnel when necessary.
Maintain currency of charts and update avionics databases.
Maintain usage records for billing and invoices of fuel, maintenance, etc.
Track and schedule all required maintenance with aircraft mechanic. (If out of town, maintenance will be coordinated with our mechanic prior to work beginning).
Perform preflight and post flight inspection of the aircraft.
Assist in the installation and removal of aerial sensors.
