Kuhn Aviation is currently hiring experienced full-time regular Pilatus PC-12 pilots for our Part 91 flight department based in Leesburg, Virginia at the Leesburg Executive Airport. Responsibilities Include
Assuming the duties of Pilot-in-Command in company operated Pilatus PC-12/45/47/47E aircraft in Part 91 single pilot and two pilot operations
Liaising with clients and fellow staff with regard to trip logistical needs, aircraft maintenance, client requests, and scheduling
Representing Kuhn Aviation by exhibiting the highest level of professionalism to our clientele, industry partners, and your fellow employees (be the benchmark!)
Maintaining a high level of knowledge in the technical subjects surrounding aviation such as current FAA regulations, meteorology, aircraft performance, IFR procedures, and corporate aviation best practices
Ensuring the aircraft is in an airworthy condition prior to beginning trips as well as monitoring cabin cleanliness, interior stock items, and aircraft ground servicing
A willingness to stay and grow with the company as part of our team
Qualifications
A motivated, outside of the box thinking, team-oriented, customer service centric work ethic
FAA ATP and/or Commercial Single Engine Land pilot certificate(s)
2,000 hours total time and 300 hours turbine time with recent time-in-type and/or exceptional relevant experience in similar aircraft and operating environments including Part 91K or Part 135
Class II or better FAA medical certificate
FCC Radiotelephone Operators permit
Pilatus PC-12 formal training
The ability to demonstrate knowledge in an interview regarding weather, corporate pilot centric scenario based questions, turbine engine operations, CRM, ADM, and IFR procedures
Candidates must live within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable driving distance from the Leesburg Executive Airport (KJYO).
