The National Park Service, Western Arctic National Parklands, based in Kotzebue, Alaska, is seeking a highly qualified single engine fixed wing pilot to serve the Northern Alaska Parklands. This position, based out of Kotzebue, Nome or Anchorage, based on pilot’s choice, is a true adventure to fly wheels, skis and floats in multiple fxed wing aircraft over the wilds of Alaska serving the mission of the National Park Service. Duties will include conducting point to point flights; low level surveys; off-airport landings; among other flying needs to support the various divisions of the Western Arctic National Parklands, in addition to Bering Land Bridge National Preserve, Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve and Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve.
