Adversary Pilot/5th Gen SME

You will serve as a Virtual Adversary Training Simulation (VATS) pilot within the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center – Nellis (JITTC-N), Nellis, AFB, NV. Position requires flexibility as duties and responsibilities may be adjusted to meet business, customer, and contractual requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for flying representative adversary fighter tactics in the JITTC-N flight simulator in support of various operational, test, and training units. The individual may also be responsible for briefings, mission planning, academics, and leading various debrief elements.

  • Simulate adversary tactics, various threat levels, various threat aircraft in a flight simulator
  • Operator various simulator programs, including the Operating System console and debriefing programs
  • Provide SME knowledge on current TTPs from adversary countries
  • Develop and execute realistic scenarios for training events.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 500 hours in a multi-role fighter aircraft (F-16, F-15E, F/A-18, F-22, F-35)
  • Work Environment: Position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required. Must be capable of working morning and evening shifts to accommodate flexible schedule training operations.
  • Clearance: DoD Top Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1000 hours in a multi-role fighter aircraft (F-16, F-15E, F/A-18, EA-18G, F-22, F-35 or comparable aircraft)
  • USAF Fighter Weapons Instructor Course, Marine Corps Aviation Weapons and Tactics graduate or Navy Top Gun graduate
  • Adversary or Aggressor course graduate
  • Experience in Joint Simulation Environment (JSE)

Other Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
