We are relocating to the Huntsville/Decatur, Alabama area and we are seeking experienced and skilled Captains to deliver exceptional results.
Position Summary: As a Captain at Encore Air Cargo, you will be a vital member of our flight operations team. You will operate Fairchild Metroliner aircraft and contribute to ensuring the safety and success of our flights. We prefer candidates with flight instructor experience and a minimum of 1200 flight hours.

Base salary is $90k-$107k annually depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
Flight Operations: Conduct safe and efficient flights on Fairchild Metroliner aircraft, adhering to all FAA regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Training and Instruction: If qualified, provide flight instruction and mentorship to junior pilots, sharing your knowledge and experience to enhance their skills and safety awareness.
Pre-flight Planning: Collaborate with the flight operations team to plan and prepare for flights, considering weather conditions, fuel requirements, passenger needs, and other factors.
Safety and Compliance: Maintain the highest levels of safety and compliance with all relevant aviation regulations and company standards.
Aircraft Maintenance: Communicate any aircraft maintenance issues or discrepancies promptly to ensure timely resolution and airworthiness.
Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with crew members, ground personnel, and air traffic control to ensure smooth flight operations.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of flight hours, training, and certifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Commercial or ATP/Multi-engine/Instrument rated
Previous FAR121/135 experience desired
1,200 Hours Total Time
500 Hours Cross Country
100 Hours Night
75 Hours Instrument (50 of which must be in actual flight)
Must be able to fly internationally and hold a Second-Class Medical
Must be able to lift and move 75 pounds
