You are not too old for pilot training yet. The Air Force requires candidates to begin pilot training prior to your 33d Birthday. However, there are waivers available for older candidates as well. Are you an officer or enlisted? If you already have your commission, this would help tremendously as AFRC could skip having to send you to OTS prior to UPT, thus saving you time and potentially a waiver. If you are enlisted, this does not preclude you from applying whatsoever, just keep in mind the additional time required for OTS prior to UPT.
