Do I have to join ROTC as a Freshman?
No, but cadets must participate in the program for at least three years in order to meet all Air Force ROTC graduation requirements.

Crazy story from a test pilot on the SR-71. Fuel on this aircraft was used as a coolant. The fuel line busted and required the airplane to dump fuel prior to landing in Milwaukee. Always be ready for an aircraft emergency and thinking outside your checklist. Worth a listen!

4 months agoROTC 4 months agoFor those considering ROTC as an option, heres a primer. It's not the end all be all document about ROTC. As with any path there are caveats and waivers and options.
This may be a way for someone to gain the slot they need to UPT or have a way to pay for college. If you have questions, discuss here for sure!
