Also, other tips I got from UPT instructors: on the weekends, forget about UPT and have fun and spend time with family. That is what recharges your battery. Friday night, Saturdays and some of Sunday spend time with family doing something you love. Sunday afternoon, get back to studying!

If I go Frontier’s F9 program, I would be 28 when I would show up for FO training and 29 when I am officially a FO. Given that I couldn’t go off to UPT until I fulfilled that FO training requirement for them (about 6 months), I am curious about the UPT requirements.

Yes. Did phone interview and in person last year.

As I mentioned, I didn’t goof or do anything to automatically eliminate me from future consideration so not sure what’s up this year

Did they mass email everyone or are they gradually reaching out to people? I got the final interview last year but haven’t heard from them about phone interview yet.

Has anyone who applied to the 159th Florida ANG unit heard anything back yet? Last I’ve heard, apps were still with the state.

I spoke with a Raptor instructor the other night and he said the best way he could describe pulling G’s is doing a leg press with the heaviest weight you can while having your friend stand on your chest.

He said it is moreso lower body strength.

CrossFit is one of the best regimes to succeed in this regard.

I couldn’t get help from my local recruiter despite the whole website pointing to him. Then I found out it’s not technically his job with UPT packages, which is why he wasn’t prioritizing it. So, I took it on my own to contact a local ROTC unit and took the AFOQT and TBAS there.
