The US still holds strong as the highest aircraft carriers in operation. We have pretty much 5x the amount of any country as they struggle to replicate our capabilities. Russia has taken a step backwards with their carrier adding to the US security. This is a bigger deal to all than most think as maritime is becoming a bigger role in the world than previously thought. Air Force pilots even train to this “new”realm of warfare. Those joining the ranks will definitely seen an impact!
