As someone waiting to go to Wright-Patt, I appreciate the advice.
Do you happen to have any gouge on the turn around for appointments, and then further for approval? I submitted my last docs 2.5 weeks ago and still haven’t gotten a date, just making sure that’s to be expected, and how long to expected after I go for it to get stamped, fingers crossed.

Threats exist everywhere and are ever evolving but one major advantage the US has is its location. The Air Force has tapped McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base to host KC-46 aerial refuelers, replacing the KC-135.

I think this is just the beginning of multiple Guard and Reserve Units getting this airplane.
These may be some of the best places to get a job as not everyone wants to the 5-6 month initial training.
If MAF (Mobility Air Forces) is your goal, I would keep a Unit like this on your radar.
