This may be an atypical question, but I’m genuinely curious to hear your thoughts. Is it uncommon or inappropriate to answer interview questions while standing, with the board seated?

I ask because, as a teacher and assistant high school coach, I’m used to speaking while standing. I feel more confident that way and tend to communicate more naturally, including using hand gestures frequently.
