Update: The testing facility would not allow the watch so I called Pearson Vue. They looked at the reg I mentioned above and confirmed that a standard watch is allowed and they coordinated this with the testing facility. I will be using my timer with a vibrating alarm on the test this week. I wanted to share this experience in case anyone else on here is taking the AFOQT and wants to use a watch to manage their time, but is experiencing a similar issue with the testing facility.

Tutor Gunboss did a video on here that I found really helpful for working through the block counting section. Knowing that each block is the same size and that only block faces touching another block face count (edges don’t count) helped me to improve my score in this area on the practice tests.
