My flying partner in T1s at UPT was a 36 year old Major.. former C130 navigator. On an age waiver for a C130 guard unit. Apparently the unit that hired him had converted from F16s to c130s and so lost a lot of pilots and was giving out age waivers to fill some of the spots. This was pre-Covid so I’m not sure how the hiring environment has changed but I’m showing the current max age to start UPT as 33 years. So in your case its definitely possible, and I’d say go for it!
