Could you talk to a recruiter outside of your area, maybe near a squadron you want to apply to? Once I got the code to sign up from the recruiter I was able to take the test at my local community college’s testing center.

I got my TBAS scheduled at the FE Warren education center and the local ANG recruiting office can bring me on base for it! Way easier and everyone was way more helpful than in Denver. Thanks all for the help!

The Unsubstantial Air by Samuel Hynes, about American fighter pilots in WW1, was really good. He flew TBMs in WW2 and you can definitely tell it’s a book written by a pilot who really understood why they did what they did.
