Quite frankly I still need to study deeply before scheduling/taking the exam. My plate is full enough with work, college, PPL prep, etc. I appreciate this input from the thread so far. I am focusing full-force into Air National Guard positions. Does a local officer recruiter only facilitate exams for those they are building packets for or is it common-place for them to help facilitate folks pursuing alternative commissioning paths?

I reside in the San Fernando Valley and Westwood areas, willing to commute if need be for test taking in any part of SoCal as well. I need to schedule my first attempt for the TBAS asap, I will need to take the AFOQT later this year as I prepare. Seems like I need to first get in contact with a recruiter to schedule both. From what I read here the TBAS is taken with the Air Force at a base, AFOQT seems to require a code and allows you to take it at an approved test-taking facility? Posting here for my own support.
