There’s a reason military aviators have a sense of arrogance to them. We are trained and laser-focused on all the mission sets our aircraft can possibly provide to commanders and have to be ready at a moment’s notice to decisively and accurately accomplish the mission. Those objectives have to be met whether that is in a fighter aircraft with armament, delivering assets in theater, providing fuel support, or airborne command & control. Never underestimate the capabilities of young men and women who dedicate themselves to being absolute masters of their craft!

The article below is a great example of being tasked with mobilizing military aviation to an area these Airmen are likely unfamiliar with. There are also probably more questions than answers, but I am willing to bet they are ready to roll, confident in their training!
