If anyone hasn’t already, I highly recommend watching Master’s of the Air on Apple Tv!
It was truly a different world back then and gives a glimpse into the Aerial Combat of WW2.

Thanks for the reply Nico, and well said! Rushing can definitely be cumbersome, and your first time at the squadron can certainly be intimidating and awkward. The biggest thing is don’t try to hard and don’t try to little. Ultimately, being yourself, having a few meaningful conversations, and being likable are the keys to success.

As some of you may know, one of your missions in a flying squadron may involve sitting alert.
While most of those days are pretty laid back and mundane… You may have that day that’s far from that.
When the klaxon goes off you have mere minutes before you need to be airborne.
