25 years old to be considered?
A couple of sources have indicated that one fighter unit is not considering applicates who will be older than 27 when UPT starts. So that would be about 25 at the interview.
First off….we’ll see. Its hard for a <25 year old to have a competitive PCSM and resume so that rule might become more of a guideline.
Second, that is an outlier. While youth is generally an advantage we’ve seen plenty of 30-year-olds hired into fighter units.
Continue to apply, make them tell you no, and realize there are plenty of paths to the cockpit.
Cheers!

163rd POC Recruiter told me the same thing about fighter squadrons hiring 26 years of age and below. however, I still applied with my application and im over 30.
