As you all see the DOD is an ever changing machine, both for the good and bad. There unfortunately have been many cases for the bad where units change platform and now pilots have to find a new home. To show how much politics is involved here’s an art post only a few months later back tracking F-16s going to Maryland. Just a point to always keep the head on a swivel. For those in Maryland it may be a while before a fighter much less flying wing comes around…
