As I read it it’s 3.15 B for more F-15EXs to me that sounds like another squadron…with Selfridge covered the big question where would that metal go…Those extra jets would be available pretty quickly – the (current) 96 copy run of F-15EX ends in 2028 ish. So that next squadron would be ready in 2029. Who would get that metal? My money would be on Missouri (replacing their Hogs) but you can be Maryland is going to lobby hard. The block 30 units could be in the mix as well – DC, CO, NJ.
Also winners: the F-16 is getting more electronic warfare kits faster ($50M), connectivity additions to C-16s and KC-135 ($116M/$84M). $474M for EA-37Bs (probably 2 jets). 4 or 5 more C-130Js. $678M for CCAs.
Also a ton of money for missiles or various types.
Love living in a buildup! Now we just need pilots to fly ’em
