Last week, the aviation community as a whole lost a living legend. Rob Holland was involved in a fatal crash at Langley AFB, VA while preparing for the upcoming airshow there. So far, there have been no official investigation findings. Rob put on the best airshow act in the world, and has seamlessly integrated with many military air demo acts over the years. I had the chance to meet Rob flying competition aerobatics; of which he was a US and international champion. An incredibly humble and approachable guy, Rob will be missed.
