      The OHWS (Optimized Human Weapon System) program in the Air Force is designed to address exactly this problem. By providing Air Force pilots access to Certified Strength and Conditioning Coaches, Athletic Trainers, Message Therapists and more, the Air Force aims to address this very issue with their pilots. Gone are the days of drinking beer, smoking cigarettes and eating more red meat to improve G tolerance. This isn’t Jackie Moon and The Flint Tropics anymore! Today’s fighter pilots train like D1 athletes to improve physical and cognitive performance so they can perform better in the jet and sustain longer careers flying fighter jets. After all, what good is your experience if you can’t stick around long enough to pass it down?
