More than 10 Generals including former Chief’s of Staff and Commanders of Air Combat Command wrote a former letter to Congress addressing the DoD proposed budget for the FY26 NDAA. Specifically, the Generals addressed their concerns over Air Superiority due to the divestiture of the E-7 and reduction in acquisition rates of the F-35. This is a very powerful variable as we continue to follow closely the changes made to the 2026 DoD Budget. Particularly for anyone out there dreaming of flying an F-35 someday!
