As much as we like to think that winning wars starts and ends with tactical avaiation, the reality is that command and control (C2) is an integral part of the fight. Without it, we all fly blind, get surprised by bad hombres, or never find the tanker. There is a concerted effort across the coalition force to modernize C2. I have worked with Korean (ROKAF) C2 via the PeaceEye, and this new jet will be a huge upgrade. Singapore (RSAF) uses this variant with fantastic results. If you’re a BD member with flying aspirations, the chances are VERY good that you work with coalition C2 just like this in the future.
