Upcoming Boards in 2026

Are there going to be less boards in 2026 for guard units? What is the general trend? I believe last year, and this year, I saw most of the boards in late Summer/Fall. Does anyone have their pulse on what 2026 might hold? Thank you!

  Specifics are hard to come by, but the broad vector is positive. There are a lot of good indicators of increased throughput with IPT coming online, more F-35, more F-15ex, and slightly smaller outflows from the IP cadre as the airline hiring returns to normal.
  
  I think we hit the bottom in 2024, and we’re climbing out. It’s hard to measure how steep the ascent will be but all indicators are positive.
