• Hey Air Force Group!

I hope you are enjoying the holiday season and have plans to spend time w/ friends and family over the next few weeks. Speaking of that, I need to make a slight schedule change to our last two Mock Interview sessions, based on my family plans… Those will now be scheduled for 17 and 22 December starting at 8pm ET.

For Sunday’s session (17 Dec), I want you to be thinking about the following questions:

      1. Why do you want to fly the XXX?

      – Hopefully you’ve done some research about the mission and it can shine through in your answer.

      – What are the pilots who fly this weapons system most proud of? Your response should make them feel good about THEIR decision!

      – This needs to be an honest and authentic answer. Something that they can easily tell resonates with you.

      2. Why do you want to be a part of our Wing?

      – Again, research here is key! Just like you would study up on Google or Amazon if you were interviewing with them, you need to know a little bit about this unit to dive into this answer.

      – Hopefully, things that you enjoy doing in your off time are readily available in this area. Family/friend ties, or any other connective tissue that draws you to this base (stuff you probably already intro’d in your Cover Letter).

      3. Where do you see yourself in 5 and 15 years?

      – Near term (5 yrs): Think tactical, commitment to becoming the best employer of the weapons system possible. Establishing a reputation of excellence and credibility in the jet. Striving to be better and continuing to learn every day.

      – Long term (15 yrs): While staying sharp on everything above, shifting your focus slightly towards opportunities to fill leadership roles in whatever capacity based on opportunities and the needs of the unit.

Here’s the Google Meet link for Sunday. Because you are an integral part of this session (Mock Interviews would be difficult w/o interview candidates!), please respond to this feed if you plan on participating live. Hope to see you there!

      Cheers,

      Snip
