We’ve been working on new features to help you stay connected with squadrons and informed throughout the hiring process. They’re ready for you to test today:
- Free members: Receive messages from squadrons you’ve applied to.
- Job Board Only members: Follow squadrons for real-time job alerts, announcements, and updates.
- Pro/Elite members: Follow squadrons and get notifications when your application is viewed, saved, or favorited.
Squadrons have been asking for an easier way to communicate with applicants. These tools should help hiring reps keep you informed—and give you more visibility into your application activity.
We’ll officially introduce these features to squadrons next week, but you get the first look. Click around, try them out, and let us know what you think!

So I spent the majority of my day prepping and flying an 8v8 DCA (Defensive Counter Air) sortie today. The most debated thing during the debrief wasn’t whether or not the strikers made it to Mission Fail Line ironically, it was whether Darth Vader was actually in the original Top Gun. It became such a contentious and debated topic that following the actual debrief, the entire Red and Blue Air 8-ships went to the bar and put Top Gun on to watch this exact scene. Turns out- Darth Vader does make an appearance immediately following the “loving feeling” ballad. Pay close attention or you’ll miss it.
